Print Design: ChiTAG Playing Cards Deck

I designed and illustrated this limited edition set of playing cards for the Chicago Toy and Game Group during the run up to the Chicago Toy and Game Fair of 2014. The play card set was printed by 360 Manufacturing and distributed to participants of  the Toy and Game Fair's T&G Inventor Con.

The story/theme of the deck was mine to decide and so I depicted a group of children who discover an adult’s wardrobe of royal costumes from different historical time periods. World history and costume have always been favorite topics of mine and it was a delight to be able to take such rich subject matter and run with it.

The deck was produced with a combination of Photoshop (for artwork), Illustrator (for the cards), and InDesign (for the box).
